Building a manufacturing network from Shanghai
Qifan’s development has extended from its Shanghai origins to manufacturing bases in Anhui, Hubei and Fujian. Access to transport routes and proximity to industrial supply chains form part of that network’s role in serving different cable applications.

A 220kV submarine cable delivery milestone
The reported delivery used a 220kV, 3×630mm² submarine cable for Huaneng’s Shandong Peninsula North BW offshore wind project. The single cable length was 28.5 kilometres, with a reported weight approaching 4,000 tonnes.

Recognition in the 2025 cable industry rankings
At the China Wire & Cable Industry Conference in Shanghai on 26 August 2025, Qifan was named among the industry’s ten most competitive companies. The company reported this as its fourth consecutive appearance since 2022.
